Action-packed aerial combat game features epic single-player and multiplayer campaigns
Along with these ten fresh screenshots, 505 Games announced that Top Gun: Hard Lock, a video game based on Paramount Pictures' classic film developed by Headstrong, a division of Kuju, will feature a wealth of gameplay modes and features never before seen in a Top Gun-licensed title. The titular Hard Lock mode allows players to engage the enemy during dogfights, enabling them to lock on to targets and not only unleash their powerful arsenal of weapons, but also perform dazzling aerial combat manoeuvres such as barrel rolls, The single-player story campaign offers 15 missions set across diverse backdrops, and the Danger Zone mode pits a single player against wave after wave of enemy forces, including ground targets, bombers, fighters, enemy aces and more. In addition, the game includes Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Co-op with three separate missions; Carrier Strike, Base Defence and Aircraft Escort. Top Gun: Hard Lock will be available in Spring 2012, for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
