Diablo III Major Gameplay Changes Unveiled

To be added via future beta updates
Jay Wilson, Diablo III Game Director, just revealed some of the upcoming major (and minor) changes for Diablo III based on the feedback from the internally and beta tests, including crafting, items, core attributes, and inventory. For example, Scrolls of Identification are no longer in the game - now when obtaining an unidentified item you will simply right click it, a short cast timer will occur as your character examines the item, and it will become identified. Also, the fifth quick slot button becomes a dedicated potion button, and the Mystic artisan is being removed along with Cauldron of Jordan and Nephalem Cube. In addition, common (white) items will no longer be salvageable, and Defense, Attack, and Precision aren't attributes anymore. Moreover, character stats are displayed directly on the inventory UI.
