  • Sony Computer Entertainment Inc announced that for the first time ever in the game console history, PlayStation and PS one hardware achieved a remarkable cumulative worldwide shipments of more than 100 million units as of May 18th, 2004. PlayStation title lineup boasts over 7300 titles as of end of March 2004, with cumulative software shipments reaching over 949 million units around the world.
  • 200.000 Guild Wars accounts were created during the E3 2004 event, making this title one of the five largest online games in North America and one of the ten largest online games in the world, announced NCsoft

  • Combat Mission: Afrika Korps has been licensed by the Australian Government, Department of Defence "to aid Officers in historical education", announced Battlefront.com.
