1. BioWare and Del Ray have announced that the Mass Effect: Deception will be "patched". Word is: "Mass Effect fans have been asking for a comment on recent concerns over Mass Effect: Deception. We have been listening and have the below response on the issue. The teams at Del Rey and BioWare would like to extend our sincerest apologies to the Mass Effect fans for any errors and oversights made in the recent novel Mass Effect: Deception. We are currently working on a number of changes that will appear in future editions of the novel. We would like to thank all Mass Effect fans for their passion and dedication to this ever-growing world, and assure them that we are listening and taking this matter very seriously.".

2. Konami Gaming has announced a partnership with JOINGO, a mobile and social technology company, to provide the Konami Casino Management System (KCMS) Patron App. The KCMS Patron App is a mobile loyalty system which allows casinos with KCMS to immediately deploy their own branded Android, iPhone, Blackberry, and Mobile Web Apps. It also gives the casinos an opportunity to engage with their guests more strategically and more often, while offering players current offers and up-to-date information on their loyalty club status - anywhere, anytime.

3. HitFox sent over a press release announcing it has acquiresd Chili Entertainment GmbH and ad2games, two game advertising network from Germany. HitFox is seeking further partnerships with game suppliers and advertisers. The company will also be represented at Casual Connect Europe from February 7 to 9 in Hamburg, exhibiting in Hall G2/Silver 2.

4. BloodRayne: Betrayal is now 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE Arcade and $9.99 on the PlayStation Network, Majesco Entertainment announced. In the game, players become Rayne, the sexy dhampir born from the union of vampire and human, blessed with extraordinary strength, speed and agility, but cursed with a thirst for blood and weakness to sunlight. Begrudgingly recruited by the vampire hunting Brimstone Society for one final mission, Rayne teams up with a mysterious new friend to stop an evil vampire massacre.

5. YoYo Games has announced the launch of Froad, a brand new survival game created with its Gamemaker platform, for Android and iOS devices, priced at £0.69 (UK), €0.79 (EUR) and $0.99 (USD). In Froad players take control of an amphibian and are tasked with catching as many bugs as possible.
