Ridge Racer, Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen and Touch My Katamari to get app, demos and DLC following launch of new Sony handheld
NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe sent over a press release announcing that a wealth of extra content for its three PS Vita launch titles is on its way via PlayStation Network, including an app, demos and downloadable content (DLC). At launch and while stocks last, fans who buy the retail version of Ridge Racer for PS Vita will find a code in the box for a free '‘RIDGE RACER Gold Pass' which unlocks a wealth of extra DLC content. The same Gold Pass is also available to all fans who purchase the digital version of the game on PlayStation Network no later than March 31st. Players wanting to check out stylish ninja action sequel Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zencan get a taste of Zen's deadly assassin skills by downloading the free demo featuring a tutorial and one mission. Additional premium downloadable content in which players will battle against otherworldly creatures and bring down their 8 fearsome bosses will also be available post-launch. Also, a demo for Touch My Katamari is scheduled for early March and will offer a tutorial and one mission. The PlayStation Vita is scheduled to launch in Europe on February 22nd, 2012.
