THQ Signs MotoGP 3

Today, THQ announced the next game of the MotoGP series, MotoGP: Ultimate Racing Technology 3. The game is developed by Climax and launch is scheduled for the end of the second quarter of 2005 for the Xbox videogame system and PC. "The new instalment will have players racing through photo-realistic race tracks and will introduce a brand new mode". No screenshots were available at press time.

The original title was followed with the release of MotoGP: Ultimate Racing Technology 2 in 2003, which was one of the first titles to feature Xbox LiveTM support. Featuring the most immersive MotoGP experience at the time, the two releases enjoyed an impressive number of awards including those from Microsoft Advanced Technology Group, Official Xbox UK, Edge and IGN.com.
