1. Super Mario Galaxy became the ninth Wii game to sell more than 5 million units in the United States, according to the NPD Group, which tracks video game sales in the United States.

2. PopCap Games has announced the global launch of Zuma's Revenge! and Zuma's Revenge! HD for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. These action-packed titles, based on classic PopCap IP, have been optimized for Apple's popular smart devices, and are available immediately for U.S. $1.99 and $4.99 respectively from the App Store.

3. Matrix Games and Slitherine have announced that Panzer Corps, Advanced Tactics: Gold, and Time of Fury have taken home some major awards in Wargamer’s Game of the Year 2011 Awards. Panzer Corps stole the show, taking home silver in Community's Award and gold in Editor's Choice, Time of Fury grabbed the bronze in Community's Award and Advanced Tactics: Gold picked up the silver in Editor's Choice.

4. Sony Entertainment Network has announced the debut of the Music Unlimited service on the PlayStation Vita (PS Vita) portable entertainment system. PS Vita users can cache playlists and channels letting them listen to music even when a 3G or Wi-Fi connection isn't available, or when they want to conserve battery life or curb data usage. Additionally, the device's vibrant five-inch, high definition OLED touch screen makes it easy to navigate menus and search for music with the tap or swipe of a finger.
