today announced plans to expand to Sweden by opening a games studio in Stockholm. The company is currently searching for a General Manager for this satellite office, which will open later this year. Rovio is targeting to hire 20-30 professionals to Stockholm within a year.
has announced that its library of downloadable titles for PSP is now available at significantly reduced prices as part of the "Re-Vita-lized" PlayStation Network Price Drop Event. Among the ATLUS classics dropping in price is the complete PSP system Persona collection, which includes Persona 3 Portable, plus Hexyz Force and the Dept. Heaven PSP collection, a host of genre-twisting RPGs and SPRGs from developer Sting. Other affected titles include Crimson Gem Saga, Class of Heroes, and Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble.

, a comic book that takes place in a rich environment where Galactic Command
is deep in conflict with opposing forces hell bent on taking over the resources of a distant planet and apparently building a super weapon while they’re at it. A special limited-edition, "First Issue" comic based on this upcoming videogame, will be featured at the DC Entertainment booth at San Diego Comic-Con this year, as well as E3 and several other trade shows during the year. It will also be made available through various online outlets.
4. With the all new Playhouse system, all players from Grand Chase Heroes
will be given a unique and fully customizable space while providing a hang out for their friends to visit and a garden area where players can grow their own buffs. Grand Chase: Heroes is a side-scrolling action MMORPG that allows up to six players to battle monsters in dungeons, or face off against other players in combat. Gamers can engage in team battle and survival modes of gameplay, with each type supporting both tag and item matches.
5. Sony Computer Entertainment America
(SCEA) has announced the availability of the 2012 MLB.TV app for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) system in North America. The MLB.TV app on the PS3 system gives baseball fans access to the highest quality HD, live and archived games, home and away broadcasts, as well as an array of interactive features designed to take advantage of the PS3 system’s technical prowess. Subscribers will also have access to all available Spring Training games and every out-of-market regular season game, which kick off today in Japan.
