1. Riot Games announced League of Legends in 3D.

2. Mars Effect is the upcoming game developed by Mojang's Notch, who is creator of Minecraft.

3. Karapyss, the Crabomancer, is the latest hero added to Rise of Immortals.

4. Wargaming.net announced that the Dragons faction will join World of Warplanes.

5. Blizzard Kidzz is a new line of videogames set to capture the imagination of a whole new generation of gamers.

6. StarCraft: Supply Depot 2 is available on your favorite web browser, and coming soon for iPhone and Android.

7. Say goodbye to your dusty old Battle.net Authenticator and hello to its new incarnation: the Zergotchi.

8. RPG franchise The Witcher will be brought to theatres this year in the form of a new musical stage show, Namco Bandai announced.

9. Square Enix revealed that the gymnast job will be added to Final Fantasy XI.

10. Skullgirls, a 2D fighting game from Autumn Games and developer Reverge Labs, will be expanding onto handhelds in early 2013 as Skullgals.

13. Ronimo Games announced Day of the Awesomenauts: Monkey Throttle, a Storydriven Sidescrolling Point And Click Online Multiplayer Adventure Brawler Arena Role Playing Shooter game.

14. Paradox Interactive launched an all-new platform to objectively quantify the art of games journalism. The new site, MetaMetaCritic, "provides publishers, developers, and readers alike with a quick and easy way to understand the world's overall opinion of popular game journalists, with each writer receiving an aggregated score based on reader reviews of the reviewers. This new system will provide game-enthusiast enthusiasts with a better overall concept of these writers, and allow them to make easy read/browse/troll decisions before spending their hard-earned unique pageviews.".

15. Gaijin Entertainment has revealed a new MMO game named Star Thunder, which will feature several competitive PvP-modes, original co-op mode missions and also a singleplayer story mode that's designed to introduce players to the universe of Star Thunder. This campaign, working title of which is "The Trinity Chronicles" starts in 1945 when a nuclear bomb test caused a resonating distortion of space-time continuum that instantly moved the whole solar system to a remote galaxy and into the distant future, the 48th century.

16. Atlus released a trailer for Block of Ages, the latest Rock of Ages.

17. Running With Scissors
is offering Steam keys for Postal III that will activate the Xbox 360, PS3, Vita, Nintendo DS, WiiU, iPhone, Atari 2600, C64, NeoGeo, Android & Windows Phone 7 versions of the game.
