Carrier Command: Gaea Mission Play & Contribute Beta Announced and Screens

Along with these screenshots, Bohemia Interactive announced a Play & Contribute Beta for Carrier Command: Gaea Mission, a new multi-platform title based on the original Carrier Command launched in 1988, and fully licensed and endorsed by its creators. The beta, which will launch on April 6, offers a compressed version of the Strategic Campaign. Instead of following the Gaea Mission storyline, this mode spotlights the gameplay and is considered to be a great representative of the enormous amount of player freedom - as opposed to the more linear experiences seen in many other games.
In related news, the launch date of Carrier Command: Gaea Mission has been moved from Q2 2012 to September 2012.
