1. TeePee Games has partnered with social games company PageFad LLC to promote Premier Football, an online football manager simulation in which players create, train and manage a football team made up of their Facebook friends, to compete in competitive leagues, cups, and friendly match play. To date, the game has engaged millions of football fans from over 150 countries worldwide.

2. Apple has announced the new iPad, the third generation of its category defining mobile device, will arrive today in South Korea and 11 additional countries.

3. The official Battlelog application for iOS is now available for free.

4. Aeria Games has announced its receipt of a strategic investment from So-net Entertainment Corporation, a listed subsidiary of Sony Corporation, to further strengthen its position in the global MMO market. So-net becomes Aeria Games’ second external investment partner, following a 2011 investment by NHN Corporation.

5. PopCap Games has released major updates to Plants vs. Zombies HD for the iPad and Plants vs. Zombies for the iPhone and iPod touch. These updates deliver the additional content, action and challenge that Apple smart device users have been anticipating, and are available immediately from the Apple App Store, or via iTunes for £4.99 and €5.49 (iPad) and £1.99 and €2.39 (iPhone and iPod touch). Plants vs. Zombies HD for the iPad is now available in French, Italian, German and Spanish. Existing customers can download the updates at no cost. Some of the newly added content is completely free, while some must be purchased with in-game currency that can in turn be earned through gameplay or purchased via micro-transaction.
