1. THQ has announced that the Xbox 360 Darksiders II Avatar Collection features a broad selection of different items to customize your Avatar’s appearance ranging from full armor sets to animated props and clothing. Prices range from 80 to 400 Microsoft Points an item. A premium collection for the PlayStation 3 is expected to be released at a later date. To celebrate the launch of the Darksiders II Avatar Collection THQ will be giving away a free Xbox LIVE Avatar t-shirt featuring a design by game creator Joe Mad while stocks last. 2. GameStop has announced the launch of a massively expanded selection of PC games in-store. More than 1,500 downloadable PC games are now available at 4,400 U.S. stores and at www.GameStop.com, representing one of the most extensive collections of PC games accessible at retail.

3. Nintendo has announced a series of Kid Icarus: Uprising multiplayer events taking place in HMV stores around the UK, giving fans the chance to battle it out against the expert Kid Icarus: Uprising Battle Squad. The first event takes place from 12.00 - 16.00 this Saturday 28th April at HMV in Oxford Circus.

4. Apple has announced financial results for its fiscal 2012 second quarter ended March 31, 2012. The company posted quarterly revenue of $39.2 billion and quarterly net profit of $11.6 billion, or $12.30 per diluted share. These results compare to revenue of $24.7 billion and net profit of $6.0 billion, or $6.40 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter. Gross margin was 47.4 percent compared to 41.4 percent in the year-ago quarter. International sales accounted for 64 percent of the quarter’s revenue.
