1. Blizzard Entertainment has announced several official launch events to celebrate the release of its action–role-playing game, Diablo III, with players around the world. On the night of May 14, key retail partners in the US, UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Poland, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, and the region of Taiwan will welcome gamers who want to be among the first to purchase Diablo III and lock horns with the Lord of Terror.

2. Cosmi has announced the acquisition of ValuSoft, the PC value line of THQ - the acquisition was consummated through the creation of ValuSoft Finance LLC, a sister company to Cosmi. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

3. Nexon Korea Corporation has partnered with U.S.-based game developer, A Bit Lucky to publish Lucky Space in Korea. Through this partnership, Lucky Space, a unique Sci-Fi styled social network game originally serviced through Facebook, will now be available on Nexon Korea’s online game portal.

4. DogByte Games announced that Offroad Legends is coming to iOS and Android platforms at the end of May 2012. You can drive various offroad vehicles, and will jump and fly above bottomless chasms with Monster Trucks, 4x4 off-roaders and six wheeled Behemoths. Offroad Legends will feature four vehicle classes, precise physics simulation, realtime deformation and tuning.

5. gPotato.eu has launched of new servers for the browser-based MMORTS Terra Militaris, providing the opportunity for new and veteran players to take part in the action by either discovering a brand new game world, or to optimise strategies or try out new civilizations. The new servers will host competitions for prizes worth up to 7, 000 EUR, ranging from powerful in-game items to a Samsung Galaxy tab for the top prize winner. There will be a variety of competition events, so all players are encouraged to participate for a chance to win.

6. SG Interactive's golf MMORPG, Pangya United, launched a collaboration for exclusive in-game items with "Nisemonogatari", a popular anime series published by Aniplex of America. Now, Pangya's fan-base can don rare attire based on the main characters in the anime and play with unique "Nisemonogatari"- themed items. With two sets of items planned to roll out - the first is available now and players can deck out their characters in "Nisemonogatari" garb by registering for free here.
