Ubisoft has released a couple of gameplay movies from Rayman Legends, a brand new platforming adventure with innovative social features developed by Ubisoft Montpellier for Wii U. Players can use the Wii U controller's touch screen to take out enemies or clear paths and use the gyroscope technology to manipulate and rotate platforms on the TV screen. The Wii U controller also allows players to continue the adventure of Rayman and his friends on the controller's screen even while the television is off.
The game features a variety of uniquely-themed levels, including several musical maps set to creative soundtracks and a spooky, medieval theme. Players can connect online with friends for a variety of challenges that test their skill and speed, and can see where they rank on the worldwide leaderboards.
