Fatshark has announced that Krater is now available for PC via Steam - the Mac version is scheduled to launch in July. This is a new RPG that takes place in a lush post-apocalyptic game world, a gigantic impact crater where cities and even nations have has been built on the aftermath of a bomb. One of your main goals as a player is to build your team and and try to get as deep as you can into the underside of the Krater. This will eventually become a dungeon crawler with an almost indefinite number of levels. Krater combines the combat mechanics of action-RPGs with the top-down tactics of the classic old-school games such as Syndicate and X-COM.
Krater is scheduled to hit the retail shelves worldwide, starting in the UK and Ireland on August 17th and in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on August 31st - a new trailer is now locally mirrored.
