  • Rod Abernethy and Rednote Audio announced they are producing the original soundtrack for Konami's King Arthur, a game based on the Touchstone Pictures/Jerry Bruckheimer Films movie with the same title. The game is currently under development by Krome Studios PTY, Ltd, for PS2, Xbox and GC and shipping is expected this Fall.
  • Digital Jesters informed us that Nadeo, the developer of TrackMania, has been rewarded for its original approach to game design by Develop Magazine, which has nominated the studio for an 'Innovation Award' for its forthcoming Industry Excellence Awards. The Develop Industry Excellence Awards will be held at The Royal Garden Hotel on August 31st 2004.
  • Microsoft Game Studios announced an exclusive pre-order deal with EB Games, GameStop, Circuit City, GameRush, GameCrazy and Trans World to reward gamers who pre-order Fable with an exclusive Fable documentary DVD. The limited edition DVD, available only with a Fable pre-order, contains a "making of" documentary featuring interviews with renowned game designer Peter Molyneux, as well as Simon Carter and Ian Lovett. The disc also includes playable demos of Sudeki, RalliSport Challenge 2 and Top Spin; plus gameplay trailers from E3 2004 for Forza Motorsport, Jade Empire, Conker: Live and Reloaded and MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf. Fable will be available in United States on September 14, in Europe in Octomber and will ship in Asia in early 2005.
