WHO DARES WINS version 0.1
A mod of Battlefield: 1942
Website: http://wdw.bf1942files.com/
Well guys it is finally here after 11 months of development! A big thanks to all team members and beta testers!
*** INSTALLATION ***
Self-installing .exe file.
*** INFO ***
Several breakthroughs were made with regards to new features. One new vehicle that was added was a Predator drone that is controlled from the ground. Another was a stun grenade. Several new gametypes were added. In Conquest-Hostage mode, one team must reach a hostage. When they reach the hostage, the game ends and they win. The other team is of course trying to prevent that from happening.
Conquest-Manhunt is pretty much the same thing, except one side is trying to capture a man (in this case Saddam Hussein) and the other is trying to stop them. In Conquest-Evasion, however, one side is trying to evade the heavily armed opposition and reach a point on the other side of the map. The opposition has other ideas. There are also other cool features like automated bombs, burning tires, destroyable ammunition bunkers and automated aircraft. Our mod also has 119 custom static objects, including those donated by the Swift Mod and Baghdad Dawn maps.
*** BUGS ***
--Predator drone displays -2 on ammo icon.
--When exiting certain Humvee positions, you end up in the middle of the vehicle.
--When exiting the Predator control van, you end up on the roof.
--Blackhawk controls are extremely bad. The aircraft tilts when turning so remember to pull the joystick the way you want to turn as you use the rudder.
--Humvee and M939 have no windshields.
--Jet engines don't have jet sounds.
