SR-71 TO PUBLISH PC ARCADE SHOOTER THIS SUMMER
CHAPEL HILL, NC - 27 July 2004 - SR-71 Games announced today that it will publish Steel Saviour, a retro-style scrolling shooter with vivid Technicolor-style graphics and dynamic arcade gameplay. Steel Saviour is available for immediate download for $19.99 USD and a boxed retail version is planned to ship to stores in North America this fall. SR-71 owns the worldwide rights for Steel Saviour, which has recently been released to excellent reviews in Germany and Russia.
STORYLINE
Uncover the demise of a mysterious planet, where exotic creatures roam chromatic landscapes and venomous enemies lurk behind every corner. You are a lone gunman who must summon your courage and skills as you travel through four atmospheres that embody water, fire, wind and energy, and finally a fifth level that is a monster - literally. Steel Saviour introduces loads of different enemies, fully animated background graphics, smooth multi-directional scrolling, multiple parallax layers and an explosive aural compartment.
