SEGA and Mattel team up to create an immersive Sonic the Hedgehog racing experience with Limited Edition diecast 'Danicar' and in-game vehicle
Releasing a new trailer, SEGA announced a partnership with Mattel and the iconic Hot Wheels brand offering consumers an cross-platform experience for Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, a new racing experience featuring Sonic the Hedgehog and a fantastic cast of SEGA All-Stars competing across land, air and water in vehicles that fully transform from cars, to planes to boats. Within the video game, players who choose to race as Danica Patrick will be able to drive a custom transforming electric green Hot Wheels vehicle, designed to navigate the dynamic land, sea and air environments. In addition to its in-game presence, the "Danicar" will also be available as an exclusive diecast vehicle available this holiday season with purchase of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed at select retailers.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed will be available on November 18, 2012 for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U - the PS Vita and 3DS version will launch on December 11th, 2012.
