Tiscali Games announced that new features will be introduced in Battle for Winter Castle, the second chapter of BiosFear, a fully 3D, easy to play, action-packed MMORPG. The first one is "Great White Horn", a new land packed with new and mighty monsters. The area is dominated by the imposing Winter Castle - an inner ring and four outer castles are the setting. In the outer castles, the rules of the battle are a capture-the-flag-style game, whereas in the inner ring, the battle lasts for one hour, and the guild which gets the most points is the winner. Other new features include new items for characters of level 300+ and a new NPC which gives players the chance to upgrade their gems. There will be graphical enhancements too, with the environments looking even better. BiosFear Chapter 2 is scheduled for Summer 2004. Three new screenshots have been added in our gallery.

After the successful commercial launch of BiosFear, and a frantic 24 hour endurance gaming event, Tiscali Games today announced the first major update for BiosFear.
“Battle for Winter Castle” will open the doors to a new world with a totally unique style that blends Asian-inspired architecture with the might of Western Castles.
“The forthcoming update marks our ongoing support to BiosFear and shows that players can always expect more from BiosFear”, says Carsten van Husen, Director Games International at Tiscali Games.
The release date is still tba. However, players can jump into the action right now, by levelling-up their character ready for when “Winter Castle” is opened.
For new players to Biosfear the first two weeks are absolutely free – simply download the client software. After this trial period a EUR 6.95 monthly subscription is required.

BiosFear is easy to play, with Castle Sieges and Pet Dragons two key features. Live statistics, displaying the leading players and the top guilds, make the game even more involving.
