Star Citizen Kickstarter Campaign Started and Video

Releasing a new video, Cloud Imperium Game, created by Chris Roberts, who helped define the space sim genre in computer games during the 1990s with his Wing Commander and Privateer franchises, announced the launch of a Kickstarter campaign for Star Citizen which will provide a scalable crowd funding platform in addition to the custom one hosted on the Star Citizen site to help Roberts reach the company's stated goal of raising a minimum of two million dollars for Star Citizen.
Roberts spoke directly to his fans about the situation in a new video now locally mirrored.
