The patch is only compatible with download (non-Steam) or retail (boxed) versions of the game
The German version Chaos on Deponia, an adventure game developed for PC and Mac, has been updated to v1.3 (thanks: The Patches Scrolls). Check full article for details - note that savegames which are corrupted or contain bugs already cannot be restored or fixed with this patch.
