Releasing a new video and five more screenshots, Electronic Arts announced today that Dead Space 3, the sequel developed by Visceral Games, will feature the all-new Kinect functionality which further immerses players into the Dead Space universe by allowing players to use simple voice commands to help a friend from the onslaught of horrors and thrills that awaits them in the game.
Dead Space brings Isaac Clarke and merciless soldier John Carver on a journey across space to discover the source of the Necromorph outbreak. Crash-landed on a frozen planet, facing deadlier evolved enemies and the brutal elements, Isaac can choose to team up, not only for his own survival, but for that of mankind's. You can play together with a friend or go it alone as Isaac Clarke using the seamless new drop in, drop out co-op functionality. Each mode offers unique story elements and gameplay.
Dead Space 3 will be available in North America on February 5th and in Europe and UK on February 8th 2013, for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
