A Game of Dwarves Dark Mode Update Revealed

Paradox Interactive has announced that Dark Mode, an optional new game setting, is being added for free to A Game of Dwarves, their fantasy mine-management title. This update will plunge all in-game mines into pitch black darkness, illuminated only by players' construction of braziers and torches for a more realistic challenge. Without adequate lighting, players may not see the monster awaiting them in the next cavern, or a trapped dwarf in need of rescue, requiring them to consider optimal illumination techniques as they build and expand their mines.
Dark Mode is a free addition to A Game of Dwarves and will be applied through a downloaded update. The mode is entirely optional.
