Price Cuts for Xbox and PS2 in Europe

One of our reporters at the Leipzig Game Convention tells us that just minutes ago, Sony Entertainment announced that the price of the PlayStation 2 console has now been lowered to 149.95 troughout Europe. Microsoft has also let us know that the price of the Xbox was also dropped to 149.95 effective 27th August. This might be a good point for people to grab both consoles for the same price that it used to cost to get just one.
