Activision announced its line-up of games today with Star Wars: Battlefront as the main star of the show. But that's not everything. The list includes Tony Hawk's Underground 2, X-Men Legends, and Shark Tale. Recent hits such as Spiderman 2, Shrek 2 and Doom 3 [restricted 18 only area] will also feature.

Activision's domination of the top of the gaming charts looks set to continue, as the publishing giant unveils an amazing array of top quality games being unveiled to the public at Game Stars Live. The most innovative game ever to be based upon the classic Star Wars movies will be released later this year – but attendees of Game Stars Live, the UK's biggest ever computer and videogames exhibition, will be able to get their hands on it early, as Activision has confirmed that Star Wars: Battlefront will make its full UK public debut at the show. Also making their first public appearance on the firm's colossal booth will be Tony Hawk's Underground 2, X-Men Legends, and Shark Tale. Recent hits such as Spiderman 2, Shrek 2 and Doom 3 [restricted 18 only area] will also feature. "With so many hugely-anticipated titles on show for the first time, Activision's really pulled out all the stops for attendees of the event," says Kirsty Adams, event director, Game Stars Live. "Activision's line-up really does have something for everyone – and we're expecting it to be a huge hit with both families and hardcore gamers alike." Filling an area the size of three football pitches, Game Stars Live will offer visitors the chance to play all the top Christmas releases from the major games publishers, in a star-studded show that offers something for everyone – no matter what their age or gaming experience. Celebrity appearances, gaming challenges and a whole host of special, themed zones will excite and enthral visitors. Attendees confirmed to date include Acclaim, Activision, Atari, Blizzard, Eidos, EA Games, Konami, Microsoft, Nintendo, Nokia, Ubisoft, Vodaphone and VU Games– with many more to be announced shortly.
