The Hobbit: Armies of the Third Age Reached 1 Million Users

The epic Middle-earth fantasy title is Kabam's fastest growing game to date
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that The Hobbit: Armies of the Third Age, a free-to-play tactical combat game developed by Kabam and inspired by The Hobbit Film Trilogy, directed by Peter Jackson, has now one million users. The milestone comes after the game attracted more than 250,000 new players to its exciting take on Middle-earth in one day following its official global debut on 21st March, 2013.
The Hobbit: Armies of the Third Age challenges players to take up arms alongside the greatest heroes of the Third Age, including select characters from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey like Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield, Radagast and more. Gamers are charged to lead an army of Elves, Dwarves or Orcs in fast-paced tactical combat and band together with thousands of other players to join powerful alliances and wage an epic war online.
The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-earth is now available on Facebook and other Web platforms.
