Folk Tale Gets Steam Early Access and Screens/Trailers

Folk Tale Early Access includes the current alpha, regular updates throughout development, the final digital retail version, and all patches thereafter
Having graduated Steam Greenlight in October 2012, Folk Tale launched this week on Steam Early Access, Games Foundry announced. Available initially for PC and Mac, a Linux version will follow soon, and is priced at $20 including the final digital retail release of the game.
Folk Tale is a sandbox fantasy city builder strategy game in which you lead a ragtag band of peasants in growing a small settlement into a thriving market town, while the dastardly Slavemaster Urzal and his minions plot your downfall. You will sound the rallying call and head out into the wilds with parties of heroes and fight back the tide of evil in a game of endless possibilities. You can rule with tyranny and oppression, or liberalism and justice. You can play as a merciless expansionist hell-bent on destruction, or as a gold-hoarding mercantilist who'll sell their own grandmother.
