The sequel to the phenomenally successful Counter-Strike Online, which has been a consistent top title in the Chinese market since its launch in 2008
Nexon has announced an agreement with Tiancity to publish the first-person shooter Counter-Strike Online 2 in mainland China. Developed by Nexon Korea and based upon Valve's Counter-Strike series, Counter-Strike Online 2 is a team-based, tactical FPS game that pits a team of terrorists against a team of counter-terrorists in a series of rounds. It combines the plot and competitiveness of its predecessor with higher-quality graphics, a wider array of weapons, equipment customization and new and improved environments.
The sequel also incorporates MMORPG elements with the addition of a new game mode - "Big City" - in which 64 users can play simultaneously.
