Halo: Spartan Assault Xbox One Version Dated and Screens/Trailer

Developed by 343 Industries in conjunction with Vanguard Games, Halo: Spartan Assault is a top-down action shooter that brings a Halo video game to touch-based devices for the first time in franchise history. Set between the events of Halo 3 and Halo 4, Halo: Spartan Assault explores the first missions of the Spartan Ops program and dives deeper into the backstory of Human-Covenant wars. You will play through the eyes of either Commander Sarah Palmer or Spartan Davis stationed aboard the UNSC Infinity as they fight never-before-seen battles against Covenant forces.
Halo: Spartan Assault for Xbox One will arrive on December 15th - the Xbox 360 version will launch in January 2014. Halo: Spartan Assault for Xbox One and Xbox 360 features over 30 missions, the all-new online Co-op mode, and the Operation Hydra expansion pack.
Fans that have purchased Halo: Spartan Assault for Windows 8 or Windows Phone 8 prior to December 15, 2013, will be eligible to purchase the Xbox One version of the game at the discounted price of $4.99. A video and four screenshots are available for your viewing pleasure.
