Betrayer Released, Launch Screens/Video Available

Developers of the original F.E.A.R. and No One Lives Forever launch a thriller set in the New World
Unveiling a new video and these new screenshots, Seattle-based indie game developer Blackpowder Games announced that Betrayer, a first-person action adventure game developed for PC, is now available via Steam. The game was initially released in alpha form as part of Steam Early Access in August of 2013, which allowed for months of additional development and refinement with input directly from the community. Many new features were added, including new game mechanics, UI improvements, and contrast and color sliders that let players customize the look of the game to their liking.
Powered by Unreal Engine 3, Betrayer washes you ashore in the New World in 1604, where you're expecting to join a struggling English colony on the Virginia coast. Instead you find only ghosts and mysteries in a land drained of color and life. You'll build up an arsenal of weaponry including muskets, crossbows and throwing axes, collecting untold treasures along the way. You will chart your own course through an untamed wilderness teeming with danger and discovery as you search for survivors and unravel the colony’s many mysteries, including the identity of the strange, silent woman in red who helps from afar.
