1. Free casual game publisher GamesPub has launched a special page for free-to-play games on its official website. Players will be offered popular game titles along with fresh ones absolutely for free.

2. Earlier this week, Facebook reached a definitive agreement to acquire Oculus VR, for a total of approximately $2 billion. This includes $400 million in cash and 23.1 million shares of Facebook common stock (valued at $1.6 billion based on the average closing price of the 20 trading days preceding March 21, 2014 of $69.35 per share). The agreement also provides for an additional $300 million earn-out in cash and stock based on the achievement of certain milestones. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2014.

3. Publishers Mastertronic announced that its EGX Rezzed 2014 lineup includes the following games: Overruled, 10 Second Ninja, Foul Play (PS4), Tango Fiesta, Dream (Early Access with Rift support), and Orbitalis. EGX Rezzed 2014 is taking place on 28th-30th March at Birmingham's NEC.

4. Evolution Studios and Digital Image Design founder Martin Kenwright announced Starship, a new digital entertainment studio. Its first product and partner announcements will land in Q2, 2014.

5. CD Projekt RED and Dark Horse Comics has released The Witcher: House of Glass, a new addition to the action packed universe of monster hunter Geralt of Rivia. Created by Paul Tobin, with art by Joe Querio and covers by Dave Johnson, The Witcher House of Glass is available in physical format in various comic book stores in the United States of America and as a digital download, via the Dark Horse iOS and Android application, as well as online, on the Dark Horse Digital comic book store.

6. Little Orbit and Cartoon Network Enterprises (CNE) have announced an expansion of its partnership that will bring multiple properties to gaming consoles and handheld devices later this year. Serving as a licensing agent for its Turner Broadcasting sister network TNT, CNE initially partnered with Little Orbit to release the Falling Skies Planetary Warfare mobile game, based on TNT's drama Falling Skies, earlier this year. Little Orbit will also launch a console version of the game later this year. Building on that successful relationship, the two companies will partner again to create two all-new interactive games a multi-property game that will combine characters from Cartoon Network's popular original series, and a game based on the global smash hit series, Adventure Time. Both will be released globally, with North American launches slated for this fourth quarter.

8. Words & Cards, a new multiplayer game created by Ayopa Games, is now available for iOS devices here.

9. MyDream Software has announced that MyDream, an ambitious PC 3D multiplayer sandbox game that aims to provides players the freedom to create, learn and dream, surpassed its Kickstarter goal of $100,000 in pledges in only days. Its Kickstarter campaign page is located here.
