Jagged Alliance: Flashback Enters Closed Alpha, Screens Released

Selected Kickstarter backers can now access the Closed Alpha, with Steam Early Access rolling out in Q2
Unveiling these screenshots, Danish development studio Full Control today announced that Jagged Alliance: Flashback is now in Closed Alpha and can be accessed by eligible Kickstarter backers. Receiving over $350,000 in funding through crowd-sourcing platform Kickstarter, Jagged Alliance: Flashback has been in development since June 2013 and is due to launch in late 2014.
Jagged Alliance: Flashback is not just a reboot, but a reset that returns the Jagged Alliance franchise to the tactical turn-based action of the original games. Set in the mid-1980's on the Caribbean Island of San Cristobal Jagged Alliance: Flashback transports players back in time to the cold war era. They are to experience the events surrounding the foundation of A.I.M. the international mercenary organization. A destabilizing coup d'état establishes a powerful socialist regime. A hard-line fanatic U.S.S.R. General seizes the opportunity to establish a military base right under the nose of the U.S. Under the secret orders of the CIA, players must re-stabilize the balance of power in the region, restore the democratic government of San Christobal and drive out the U.S.S.R. presence by any means necessary.
Full Control also revealed that Jagged Alliance: Flashback will launch in Q2 on Steam Early Access.
