Hazewalker will expand on the action-adventure and exploration gameplay mechanics that define classics such as Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
TheoryForm Games has announced the development of Hazewalker, a Metroidvania-style game set in an original dark fantasy setting. Players will take on the role of a lone warrior who must journey into darkness to put an end to the Haze, a corrupting force that twists all that are caught within it into monstrous abominations. Players will be able to select a male or female character, experience visceral combat and branching storylines, choose and upgrade powerful abilities, improve equipment, and more.
Powered by the Unity engine, Hazewalker is slated to go live on Kickstarter in October 2014 with a fully playable demo.
