1. Imperial Glory and Praetorians, two classic titles from Pyro Studios, the makers of the Commandos series, are available on Steam today, Merge Games announced.

2. Green Man Gaming announced the start of a new promotion named 7 Days of Deals. Promotional titles included at various times across the week include Tomb Raider GOTY, Thief, Batman Arkham Origins, Final Fantasy VIII, Worms, Injustice Gods Among Us, LEGO Lord of the Rings, Duke Nukem, The Cave,Typing of the Dead, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, F1 2013, Grid 2, and State of Decay.

3. GOG.com has launched Battle of the Games promo which invites users to decide the daily outcome. Each day starting at 11.00 AM GMT, two trios of games will duke it out for the chance to be 75% off for 24-hours, while the runners up will be discounted 60%.

4. U.S. toymaker JAKKS Pacific today announced a licensing agreement with Nickelodeon to manufacture, distribute and market a line of specialty figures and toys in the United States based on the network's hit animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The agreement includes JAKKS' Hero Portal TV video game platform, the next generation of JAKKS' Plug It In & Play TV Games products, large-scale figures and more. JAKKS expects to launch its Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles product line in fall 2014 to coincide with the August 8, 2014, release of the feature film from Paramount Pictures.

5. Artist and indie game developer Kyle Merrit launched a Kickstarter campaign for Drop Bot to raise $1500 (USD) to cover various costs associated with the development of this game announced for iPhone and iPad. To entice potential backers, Merritt is offering to draw pixel art caricatures of them, which will be featured in the game as collectible bobblehead dolls. Once obtained in the game's standard mode, these dolls will be added to a trophy room where the backer's name (and a short phrase supplied by them) can be viewed. Other rewards offered through the campaign give backers creative control over certain aspects of the game, including items used to customize the player's character and entire game modes created by backers.

6. Scheduled for April 28th, Game Box Challenge is an iOS app in which you guess the title of video games based on the original description on their box. The purpose of the game is to celebrate video games and gamer culture, hence every achievement comes with two machinimas or related videos created by creative members of the gaming community.
