Boss Key Productions founded to bring next-generation FPS title to the free-to-play market
Nexon America sent out a press release announcing that it has acquired a minority stake in Boss Key, a new development studio founded by Cliff Bleszinski. As a part of the partnership, Nexon also acquired the exclusive worldwide publishing and marketing rights to BlueStreak, a free-to-play first-person shooter (FPS) developed for PC. Additional terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Cliff Bleszinski is best known for his work on shooter titles such as Unreal Tournament and the Gears of War franchise, which grossed over $1 billion in sales.
