  • According to GameSpot, a demo of Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault will be released today. The demo will feature the game's Henderson Field (Guadalcanal) level, and word is: "players can expect to encounter close-quarters fights with Japanese squads and mass numbers of Japanese planes attacking the airfield".   • The Witcher Discussion Board is now open for beta testing. All guests, except normal conversation and discussion about the game, are kindly asked to report bugs and make suggestions.   • Nintendo informed us that Game Boy Advance SP, available in a variety of colors, is now only $79.99 (this is manufacturers suggested retail price - prices may vary).
  • Midway Games Inc. announced plans to open a new internal development studio in Austin, Texas. Midway is actively recruiting for the new studio which it plans to open in the near future.   • Alchemic Dream Inc. and Gary Gygax, famous father of the Pen & Paper Role playing Game genre with games like Dungeons and Dragons or Lejendary Adventure, team up in order to bring strong live storylines in the MMOG industry.
  • AMDAT Mobile Inc., announced an agreement with Nickelodeon, the number-one-rated basic cable network for more than eight consecutive years (per Nielsen Media Research), to develop and distribute games for mobile phones based on top preschool properties, Dora the Explorer and Blue's Clues. These two games are the number-one and two rated television shows for preschoolers, respectively (per Nielsen Media Research), and have won or been nominated for more than 60 major awards, including the Peabody, Daytime Emmy and Television Critics Association Award.
  • Fathammer has partnered with Tapwave to offer a Zodiac-optimized version of the X-Forge 2 engine. The engine will be available to registered Tapwave developers on special terms. Tapwave developers who want to create cutting-edge games with stunning visual quality can use X-Forge 2 to develop 2D and 3D games in any genre (especially first-person shooters, racing and action/adventure games). Fathammer will be developing and bringing to market Street Hoops and Hockey Rage 2005 for the Tapwave Zodiac mobile entertainment console. The company will also develop other premiere titles for the Zodiac that will be available starting in the US and select European markets by the end of 2004.
