Did you know: ° Since the graphics in Ace Combat®04 really pushed the PS2 graphics engine, the programmers and artists had to develop innovative, proprietary methods to get the most out of this finite resource and create the stunning graphics seen in Ace Combat 5. ° Satellite imagery and 3D models were used to help create the improved terrain (trees, buildings and other ground objects) in Ace Combat 5’s more than 50 environments that include a tropical island and sparkling ocean, an imposing mountain range in the middle of a snowstorm, a sprawling metropolis bathed in a sunset and an ancient castle in a remote countryside. ° While all of the environments in Ace Combat 5 are unique, many of them were inspired by existing landscapes.
