Vivendi Universal Games today announced that Half-Life 2, the sequel to one of the most critically acclaimed PC titles in gaming history, will ship to retail outlets around the world in November. The game developed by Valve Software has been approved for manufacturing and will ship on November 16, 2004. The Half-Life 2 product will be localized in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Korean, Thai and Japanese and will include Counter-Strike: Source. VU Games will also release a Half Life 2 Collector’s Edition that will include Half-Life 2 in DVD-ROM format, Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life: Source, a free limited edition t-shirt, and a Half-Life 2 Prima strategy guide book.
