Sony Computer Entertainment announced that it will release its new handheld video game system, PSP (PlayStation Portable), on December 12, at a retail price of 19,800 yen excluding tax (20,790 yen including tax) for the Japanese market. A special Value Pack will be released on the same day, containing the new handheld video game system PSP, AC adaptor, battery pack, Memory Stick Duo (32MB), headphone with remote control (for PSP), and soft case & hand strap (for PSP).
