Vivendi Universal Games announced that The Bard’s Tale, the action role-playing game developed by inXile entertainment, is now available in North American retail stores, for PS2 and Xbox, and carries a suggested retail prices of $49.95 - the PC version will be released in spring of 2005. The game is not a sequel to the game released in the 1980's, it is "a completely new game, providing a truly innovative action-RPG experience with witty dialogue, stunning graphics and non-linear gameplay".
