Yoshi's Woolly World Launched in North America

Tangle, pull and stitch yarn to explore Yoshi's world in creative new ways
Developed for the Wii U, Yoshi's Woolly World invites you to embark on a new Yoshi adventure in a world made from yarn, cloth and textiles. You will explore the world by using yarn to weave wool platforms and warp pipes to reach new areas, and gleefully unravel its secrets and puzzles by pulling yarn walls apart. You can team up with a friend to have a ball together in this wild and woolly world. Co-developed by Good-Feel (known for Kirby's Epic Yarn) and Nintendo under the supervision of Takashi Tezuka, producer of Yoshi's Story and the Yoshi’s Island series, Yoshi's Woolly World is out now in North America in stores, the Nintendo eShop on Wii U and Nintendo.com at a suggested retail price of $49.99.
New soft Yarn Yoshi amiibo figures in green, pink and light blue are also available. The green Yarn Yoshi amiibo can be purchased as part of a bundle that includes the game and amiibo at a suggested retail price of $59.99. The pink and light-blue Yarn Yoshi amiibo figures can be purchased individually at a suggested retail price of $16.99. A green Mega Yarn Yoshi amiibo will also launch in limited supplies on November 15 at a suggested retail price of $39.99.
All four of these snuggly amiibo figures can be tapped into the game to activate Double Yoshi in single-player mode. Double Yoshi creates a second Yoshi character that can be used to help collect items and overcome level challenges. Yoshi's look can also be altered by tapping one of dozens of compatible classic amiibo figures in the Super Smash Bros., Splatoon and Super Mario series of amiibo. By doing this, players can unlock patterns that cannot otherwise be unlocked in the game. Players can also collect all five Wonder Wool bundles in stages to unlock additional patterns for Yoshi.
