Atari has issued a patch for Deer Hunter 2005, bringing the newest chapter of the series developed by Southlogic Studios, to v1.2 - check full article for details (thanks: 3DGamers). Deer Hunter 2005 features multiplayer tournaments with up to 16 players via the Internet or LAN connection, a new custom Map Editor allows fans to create their own hunting scenarios, five new species of deer, sophisticated animal behavior models, an advanced animal AI and more. A playable demo offering a training map and a hunting area set in Illinois is available in our download area, along with a level editor.
