Tekken 5 Release Date

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and Namco today announced that Tekken 5 is scheduled to release across the PAL territories in summer 2005 exclusively for the PlayStation 2. There are three new characters, so you start with 20 default ones, but there are more to unlock as you progress in the game. You can also use fight money to customize your character with various accessories such as hats, glasses and an assortment of different costumes. Each of the new characters is equipped with a variety of deadly techniques, and the returning characters have been updated with new moves and combos. No details about pricing are available for the moment, but we do have a few very nice screenshots.
