NCsoft and Cryptic Studios have released a movie highlighting a prestige power that players who purchase the City of Heroes Collectors DVD Edition receive. The power slide allows players to slide along at sprinter speeds “surfing” on a pool of reddish energy. The City of Heroes Collectors DVD Edition, which also includes a limited edition Statesman HeroClix figure, an in-game “VIP Badge” and other exclusive collectibles, is available at most major North American computer game retail outlets at a suggested retail price of US$49.99. This includes the first month of online game play. After the first month, players will be charged a monthly subscription fee of US$14.95.
