Rampant Games issued a new patch for Void War, updating their 3D action space combat game to v1.01 (thanks: Blues). The release fixes a couple of DirectX bugs that affected compatability with certain cards, and a cosmetic issue with ships, made some tweaking of the dialog in the single-player campaign and added a few minor bug-fixes (check full story for changelog). Void War features 6 different playable ships, each with unique weapons and movement capability - the multiplayer mode includes team play and deathmatch, and the single-player modes include a free-for-all practice mode, and a campaign game sends you on an adventure through deadly battlefields against unique opponents.
