Enlight informed us that the Gold Edition of Galactic Civilizations, the space-based strategy game developed by Stardock, will be available in Q1 2005. The gold edition adds a host of new features, content and other enhancements to the game to add depth and much greater playability. Included in the gold edition is the original Galactic Civilization and the Altarian Prophecy which is a campaign that takes the player on a multi-game journey to solve the mystery alluded to in Galactic civilizations. The expansion pack includes two new civilizations: the Korx and the Drath.
