Static is a RPG with a strong storytelling and character development component. As a victim of secret military "mind-control" experiments, you battle oppression and evade the watchful eye of "tronic" operators to an uncertain freedom as a surface survivor. Static is set somewhere in a war-torn United States. The once thriving superpower, has now been devastated and brought to ruins from nuclear warfare. Deep underground, in a long forgotten secret military facility, survivors of this cataclysm now struggle against another, more omninous threat, the loss of their own free will.
