Microsoft Game Studios sent out a press release announcing the "Play and Win" contest for MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf. Players who log at least 20 hours on Xbox Live playing the original MechAssault between December 13 and December 27 will be eligible for a chance to win a copy of MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf Limited Edition, which contains two additional maps and special behind-the-scenes footage of the game’s development - click here for details. Both the standard and limited editions of MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf will be available in North America on December 28, 2004 for an estimated retail price of $49.99 (U.S.). MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf is developed by Day 1 Studios, creators of the original MechAssault for Xbox, in conjunction with FASA Studio, the developers of MechWarrior and MechCommander series for Windows and Crimson Skies for Xbox.
