2. IECOM announced that A.I.M.S., a new fast-paced vertical shooter, is under developement. A.I.M.S. features "impressive graphics, a professional soundtrack, and smooth scrolling gameplay". The game will be available on a wide variety of mobile handsets and also supports a large number of the new 3G devices - first screenshots are located here
3. Awem Studio announced Christmas discounts on company's top selling products, including 25% discount on Xoid and Bombardix and 15% discount on Star Defender'. With prices down in December, classic arcade games make great Christmas gifts for both children and adults who enjoy deep, involving, fast-paced game playing in vivid graphical environments". SNK NEOGEO USA CONSUMER CORPORATION, the US publishing arm of the SNK PLAYMORE CORPORATION, announced today that effective immediately they will be known as SNK PLAYMORE USA CORPORATION to better facilitate worldwide recognition. The name change brings the US division in line with its Japanese parent company, SNK PLAYMORE CORPORATION, which consolidated all of its divisions worldwide under one brand on November 15, 2004.
5. An update for Aspyr Game Agent, version 1.0.1 has been released. Users who have already downloaded the original Game Agent can get the update simply by running the application - the complete 1.0.1 version is available here. This version adds several updates, including detecting a broader range of video cards, fixing bugs on Macs with multiple video cards, and a new help system that answers many of users' most frequently asked questions about Game Agent.
6. The fan site Oblivion-Lost.com has posted a chat log of the developers chat with GSC Game World regarding S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. In addition, part 4 of GSC's series of designer diaries has been translated as well. The diary entry originally appeared in the Russian PC Games print magazine and talks about animations, the conceptual basis of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and physics.
